We believe in investing in our staffing and as such are proud to say that we follow the gold standards of geriatrics care by having a high staff : patient ratio of at least 1 : 6. To us there should be enough staff to be there for your loved ones at all times. They are trained to respond at the earliest possible moment to all calls and requests. We believe that your loved ones should not be stressed anymore than they already are experiencing with their existing medical conditions. This is to assure you that we really do care for your loved ones.
All our staff are under the supervision of Dr BH Teh as Medical Director with Sister Lee assisting Dr Teh on the nursing care aspect while our General Manager Angela Chan will take care of all other non-nursing issues. Both of them are very approachable which will make your contact with our team all the more easier. We perform with our eyes open and ears in attention – we listen to all suggestions and if it is for the betterment of the home and especially the residents, we will embrace them.
We have the common medical problems of your loved ones covered – Dr Teh is on-call 24-hours of the day and visiting specialists of all disciplines can be arranged should the need arises. We can also arrange other associated health services on request. These include physiotherapist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, dentist etc.

On this note we would like to bring to your attention that we do not have fixed visiting hours for the simple reason that we encourage families and friends to come visit our residents as often as possible. We have given the commitment that we have a good staffing level and provide exemplary care the way we know how. Hence we would welcome you to drop by anytime to witness this for yourself. Our only request is that should you visit during resting hours we hope that you respect the privacy of the rest of the residents of the home.

We in Bellevue do not believe in high staff turnover. The fact that our staff stay with us is simply because we share the same core values, beliefs and vision to provide a high standard of resident care.
